Hello, beautiful photos! What a wonderful trip you've made!

I went to Japan in 2017 in the city Gifu.
Did you have the opportunity to visit this city?

I have very good memories of it, I visited a Japanese knife manufacturing company, and not to mention the cuisine there... what good memories!

Thank you so much, wooRany!

I didn’t go to Gifu but it sounds like you had an excellent time! There are so many wonderful places to see.

Oh yes, it was beautiful. I'd give anything to go back on a trip.

I wanted to thank you for the lovely trip report. My wife and I had read this many months ago back when we were just thinking of a Japan trip. We're going in two weeks and with all the various sources of info have been getting overly bogged down in the details, so returning to your Trip Report was most helpful for us. Our trip consists of Kyoto, Takayama and Kanazawa and...we're also staying at Hotel Mume! Thank you again for providing info and local color that is far superior to any guidebook.
