Fodor's Expert Review Waterfront Café
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
This busy bistro on the walkway facing the south side of the Careenage is the perfect place to enjoy a drink, snack, or meal—and to people-watch. Locals and tourists alike gather for alfresco, all-day dining on sandwiches, salads, fish, pasta, pepperpot stew, and tasty Bajan snacks such as buljol, fish cakes, or plantation pork (plantains stuffed with spicy minced pork). The panfried flying-fish sandwich is an especially popular lunchtime treat. Thursday through Saturday, dinner is accompanied by live jazz.
