Fodor's Expert Review Rick Stein's Fish

Celebrity-chef Rick Stein has expanded his seafood empire to Falmouth, where this spruced-up takeaway and restaurant opposite the National Maritime Museum makes a welcome addition to the local dining scene. The hake, plaice, and haddock are grilled, fried to a golden hue, or charcoal roasted and served with salad. Steaks and Goan vegetable curry are also on the menu in the white-tiled dining room, while fixed-price lunches include moules frites and fizz and chips (fish-and-chips with a glass of prosecco).
