This hotel is known for no-frills bargain accommodations in the center of Rome with especially good deals off season, when a double room can be as little as €70. The location is great, and rooms are simple yet comfortable with pale-wood furnishings and double-glazed windows (but alas, no elevator). Standing on a timeworn byway off central Via Arenula, the hotel welcomes you with a luminous and cheerful all-white interior and decent Wi-Fi. The graceful oval staircase of white marble and wrought iron in the lobby is lovely, but guests with rooms on the fourth floor had better be in good shape!
