Fodor's Expert Review The Crags Hotel

A traditional establishment on Callander's main street, the Crags Hotel has a restrained, elegant style. The unpretentious bedrooms are neat with well-designed shower rooms. The bar and reception area on the ground floor are quite small; however, the restaurant is bright and spacious and has an ambitious menu, with confit pork cheeks and lamb rump with ratatouille (a winning combination) alongside truffle and mushroom risotto as well as other vegetarian dishes.
