In the 1980s, Ka?, with its beautiful wide bay and its lovely view of the Greek island of Kastellorizo (Meis), was the main tourist destination on the Lycian coast. But it fell by the wayside because it lacked a real beach and A-list attractions. This has, fortunately, kept away the worst overdevelopment; now Ka? is being rediscovered, with regular visitors migrating from Kalkan. There are excellent hotels and restaurants, the location is relatively central, and the size is about right, making it a good stop on your way along the coast. Like Kalkan, Ka? is also a good base for sightseeing in the area; you can hop down to Kaleköy (ancient Simena) and Kekova Island, or across the water to Kastellorizo.
