Fodor's Expert Review Machu Picchu
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
The local branch of Panama City's popular Peruvian restaurant chain serves the same selection of spicy delicacies. The dining room is a bit plain, despite paintings of Peruvian landscapes and colorful woven tablecloths, but you can't go wrong with such classics as ceviche, ají de gallina (chicken in a chili cream sauce), seco de res (Peruvian stewed beef), and sudado de mero (grouper in a spicy soup). Be careful with their ají hot sauce: it packs a real punch.
