Although it's adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center and was built for business travelers, this hotel is a good choice for other visitors given its proximity to attractions like the popular Riverwalk and the Florida Aquarium. At least half the rooms and most of the suites overlook the concrete-walled channel to Tampa Bay; the bay itself is visible from the higher floors of the 27-story tower. The pillared lobby has real palm trees growing out of the gleaming tile floors, and the coffee bar overlooks the water. On-site eateries include Anchor and Brine, Garrison Tavern, and Cafe Waterside.
