This much room and amenities usually come at a higher price, but most of the individual units at this property are very affordable and great for families and longer term visitors. The pool and outdoor dining area give this property a little special something to make for a memorable visit.
Fodor's Expert Review
A large and pretty complex on the makai (oceanfront) side of Alii Drive, Casa de Emdeko offers a few more amenities than most condo complexes, including a florist, hair salon, and an on-site convenience store. There's also a nice barbecue cabana, a private sandy oceanfront area for sunbathing, plus fresh and saltwater pools. All units have lanai, with either garden or ocean views. Each unit is individually owned and managed by various property owners, so it's best to check the website if you want to make a reservation.
You Should Know Getting in touch with the property manager via phone can be tough (though you’ll typically want to contact your individual unit owner). If you need him for any reason he responds quickly to email.

Room
This complex operates approximately 20 vacation rentals that range between one and two bedroom in size, many of which are excellently priced. Some have lanais, air conditioning, and other nice amenities, so be sure to spend some time picking the unit that is right for you.
Bathroom
Bathrooms also vary based on the unit, but do come in a number that is reflective of the bedrooms (1 bedroom/1 bath, 2 bedrooms/2 bath).
Lobby
There is no check-in with the condos, each individual owner has their own procedure for checking in.
Pool
There are two pools on the property, a smaller garden pool in the middle of the complex, and an oceanside pool with fantastic views of the Pacific. Next to this pool is a private sandy beach area for guests to relax.
Tip The oceanfront pool, sandy beach area, and outdoor dining areas are very lovely and not something you often see outside of the expensive resorts. With a little creativity, and a few umbrellas for your cooler full of cocktails, you can easily recreate that resort feel on a budget.
Dining
Each condo has a full kitchen and there is a nice oceanside outdoor barbeque and dining area for all owners and guests.
