Holden Inn
140 Commercial St., Wellfleet, Massachusetts 02667, USAWhy We Like It
This inn is a classic Cape Cod property that doesn’t pretend to be what it’s not, which is to say, it’s a reasonably priced place to stay, with few amenities. The inn is a popular spot for weddings, due to its large lawn and bargain prices. Loyal fans love its location and its Yankee vibe. If all you need from a hotel is a place to sleep while on vacation, this is ideal.
Fodor's Expert Review
If you're watching your budget, try this no-frills place, which has operated for almost 100 years. It’s located on a tree-shaded street just outside the town center but within walking distance of several galleries and restaurants. There’s an outdoor shower and a large screened-in porch with a lovely view of the bay and Great Island, far below. Accommodations are in the main inn, a cottage and a lodge.
You Should Know The inn is closed from November 1 to May 1.
