Fodor's Expert Review The Lark

122 W. Main St., Bozeman, Montana, 59715, USA

The Lark may be one of Bozeman’s newest hotels, but as one of its first boutique hotels, it’s also one of the city's most needed hotels, conveniently located on Main Street within walking distance of dozens of shops and restaurants. There’s even a coffee shop on-site, and guests have complimentary access to a local gym. The light-filled rooms range from California king studios to micro-queens, double-doubles, and even rooms with bunk beds. All are decorated with graphic art installed by local artists.

PROS

  • it's dog-friendly
  • staff is young, hip, and always happy to share hiking tips
  • downtown Bozeman is outside your front door

CONS

  • no complimentary on-site parking
  • rooms could use curtains that block more light
  • can be loud since it's on Main Street
