Carlton Arms
160 E. 25th St., at 3rd Ave., New York, New York, 10010, USA, New York City, New York, USAWhy We Like It
The local character and artistic spirit that is frequently missing from hotels is strongly present in this property. We like the individual art in all of the rooms and you can’t beat the affordable price for the downtown location.
Fodor's Expert Review
Europeans and students know about the chipper, winning attitude of this friendly, no-frills hotel where rooms feature wall murals by a range of artists. While some rooms have private bathrooms, others have access to shared unisex bathrooms, two per floor. Unlike many other New York City hotels, nightly rates remain consistent throughout the year: $160 with a private bathroom or $130 to share.
Tip The hotel website has photos of each and every room; you can choose according to your taste and needs.
