Fodor's Expert Review The Arlington Inn & Spa

3904 Rte. 7A, Arlington, Vermont, 05250, USA

The Greek Revival columns of this 1847 home lend it an imposing presence in the middle of town, but the atmosphere within is friendly and old-fashioned. Guest rooms—spread between the main inn, parsonage, and carriage house—are dainty and dressed in Victorian florals and frills. Well-tended grounds contain a gazebo, a pond, and a waterfall, and one of the area's most respected restaurants, who's little old bar is one of the most wonderful in the state.
